Spinning the Web
Web is one of the areas of IT where my experience so far is quite sparse.
As most people in the business I’ve tested doing some simple flat html site, and I’ve tinkered a little bit with Joomla, but not in a way that any sane person would pay me money to do.
To take a step from this very rudimentary knowledge of web to becoming a proficient pentester can at times feel overwhelming and daunting. But with proficient guidance, grinding and my lust for learning new things, this will be done.
At the moment I’m going through Portswigger WebSecurity Acadamy as a part of my education. This, together with the lessons by our teacher, is gradually removing the obscuring web from my mind and putting my mind on obscuring the web.
School is quite busy right now, so we’ll see how much posting I will do, but stay tuned, something might show up.
